Beautifully decorated accommodation with decent setting adjacent to Belmont Shore as well as too walking distance from Pine Avenue. Really helpful staff providing great services. Very enjoyable stay, as always.

Truly enjoyed the fact that I chose this stylish and wonderful hotel. The staff were consistently courteous, the room was huge and reasonably spacious with perfect lighting, the most comfortable beds plus coffee makers. A ferry port was very close to the property. I had a great stay in a long time.

The property has favourable location next to Long Beach for the weekend and many great local restaurants. I had coffee at George's Greek Cafe, located within 10 minutes walk.

Beautiful small hotel located in a good area adjacent to Long Beach for 15 years, the main streets, and clubs. Favourable and unbeatable location, just a pleasant stroll away from Second Church of Christ. Good choice of food options at a medium distance from the venue.

I stayed at The Varden-A Boutique Hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service. The staff greeted me warmly and were always ready to assist with any requests. The room, albeit small, was clean and comfortable, perfect for a short trip. The hotel's location was convenient, within walking distance of restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this hotel for its top-notch service and convenient location.

The staff at the Varden were terrific. Service was, without exception, excellent in every way. Location of the hotel was perfect for the major attractions of coastal Long Beach and the hotel was interesting from a historical perspective. Definitely not just another giant chain hotel.

The free "continental breakfast" was a bit spartan for my taste, but this is not an important complaint, as there are a number of other choices for breakfast nearby.
